FROM YOUR DESIGN TO YOUR PRINTER
A good print starts with the right file.
Both downloads use the same geometry you see in the editor. They are digital model files, not pre-sliced instructions for a particular printer.
STL: one combined shape
Choose STL for a single-colour print. Import it in millimetres. STL does not store colours or named parts. On suitable flat designs, you can add a filament change at a layer height after inspecting the sliced preview.
3MF: keep the parts together
Choose 3MF to keep the model's named parts and their relative positions. Import it as a model and keep the assembly together: raised letters must stay on their base. If your slicer asks whether to open a project or geometry, choose geometry or model import.
Assign filaments to the parts in your slicer. Display colours are a styling suggestion; the file does not set AMS slots, filament colours, temperatures or a printer profile. A part may contain several decorative shapes and is not always one independently colourable motif.
Before you press Print
- Select your exact printer, nozzle, build plate and filament profile.
- Check the model dimensions and bed fit. For a separate diffuser, backing or base, use the individual STL buttons when available and arrange those physical pieces separately.
- Inspect the first layer, thin lines, overhangs and the layers where text begins. Keep raised decoration attached to its supporting part.
- Print one sample and check fit, readability and strength before making several copies.
Our previews are model renders. Software geometry and slicing checks do not establish physical print quality. Physical sample acceptance is still pending; printer and material combinations must be checked individually.
