A small print, a little care.

Open the file in your slicer, check the scale and thin details, then choose settings for your printer and material.

Make it yours

Start with the photograph, then choose the frame. Measure the paper itself instead of guessing from its advertised format: a trimmed print may differ from the size on its packet. Enter that width and height in millimetres. The model leaves a small ledge behind the visible opening, so the edge of the paper can sit behind the border. Keep a little clearance for your own backing attachment. A digital preview cannot tell you whether a particular sheet, adhesive or backing board will fit.

Try a wider border when you want a caption or raised decoration. Short names are easier to read than a long sentence at this scale. Inspect every edge of the opening after changing the shape, because an oval or arched surround uses more space than a simple rectangle. The optional backing is a separate loose piece, not a snap-fit enclosure. Download its own STL if you want to position it independently in your slicer. Photo paper, glass, fasteners and hanging hardware are not included. This frame has not been physically test-printed; check the first print before entrusting it with a treasured photograph.
