Four lettered caps and a 2 × 2 switch base. Supply your own electronics. This design belongs to build your own shortcut corner: separate caps and switch-grid bases to begin your own electronics project. Begin with this arrangement, then use the editor to change the available lettering, dimensions or artwork. The preview and the STL are generated from the same model settings. Check the complete dimensions after editing, because changing a name, shape or size can change the footprint and the smallest printable details. Download the finished geometry, rather than treating the display colours as slicer instructions.
The base contains switch openings, and each cap has an adjustable MX-style cross socket underneath. Raised, flush and engraved legends create different top surfaces; flush lettering is a separate inlay part for inspection or colour planning. Switches, electronics, wiring and firmware are not included. These parts do not form a working electronic keyboard, and their fit is untested. The model has not been physically test-printed. Measure a spare switch, inspect the socket and print one cap before attempting an entire row. Never force a tight socket onto valuable hardware. Download the base and individual cap parts separately when arranging your own slicer project.
